The Role

We are delighted to be working with a quality furniture store based in Dorset looking to hire an eCommerce and Digital Marketing Executive. The company has exciting projects coming up over the next year and in this position, you could play a vital role in achieving the desired results. This is a perfect position for someone with some experience working within a similar role, they should be able to put their learnt skills to practice, but also be open to further development.

This role will span a number of different responsibilities from uploading products to the website, writing copy alongside it, and following SEO best practices. Moreover, you will prepare for price changes, sales and promotions on the site, and work with other teams to deliver customer retention campaigns across a variety of platforms. There is also the opportunity for the creation of content with Photoshop/Canva and video editing software.

Some key platforms and software that you will use on a daily basis and require previous experience in are MS Office (primarily Excel),   a CMS System and an email marketing platform. Having great attention to detail and a commercial mindset are key skills required for the right candidate.    

Skills and Experience 

• Previously worked within a digital marketing/eCommerce role
• Experience in using Excel (and other MS Office applications), a CMS System and an email marketing platform.
• Be creative and commercially minded in your approach 
• Have the ability to confidently write copy for product descriptions and email marketing content.
• Desired but not required: Experience with Photoshop, Canva and video editing software.

This role is hybrid, with one day per week in the office. It’s a great opportunity for a more junior candidate to take responsibility for certain aspects of digital marketing to develop and grow within the role.
