The Role
Do you get really excited by helping clients level up their marketing? Are you a natural organiser who loves to project manage and see things through to completion? Then we might have something just for you!
We’re working with a marketing consultancy in the beautiful city of Bath, as they embark on their search for an Account Director. In this role, you will oversee a small but growing marketing team, and will also have ownership of 2-3 clients of your own. All of your clients will be B2B companies and so we are looking for experience in a B2B setting. This is such a rewarding role as you will be a genuine extension of your clients’ marketing teams, and in many instances, you will be working with Founders and so you will be the ‘Head of Marketing’ for that client. This is a consultancy that works with its clients for the long haul which will really enable you to build long-lasting and strong relationships with your clients. Essentially, you’ll get all of the feels of working in-house, but with the variety of having a selection of clients.
Your day-to-day will involve strategy, content planning, meetings with clients to discuss marketing performance, challenges and opportunities, and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns. No two days are the same here, and we really need someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and be hands-on when needed. That might be managing a client’s social media plan to content editing. You will get a huge amount of satisfaction from this role, and will be working with clients who genuinely respect your expertise and the value you add.
