The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead a small but friendly digital team in Cardiff. You’ll be joining a beautiful consumer brand who are only at the start of their journey, and in this rewarding role you will lead and guide a team as well as taking on ownership of the paid media strategy and execution. Whilst we are looking for someone with well-rounded digital marketing knowledge, the most important skill here is hands-on paid media experience across both search (Google Ads) and social (Facebook and Instagram). This role will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across all digital channels.

Reporting directly to the Founder, you will be a very influential member of the team and as such, we’re looking for strong leadership skills as you will directly manage a Social and Content Manager, Marketing Executive, and Marketing Assistant. There will also be a dotted line into you from the customer service team. 

Ideally, you will have worked for a small and fast-growing eCommerce business and therefore understand the need to be versatile, adaptable, and willing to roll your sleeves up and turn your hand to all things digital. You will have the support of your team and an SEO and web development agency too. 

Your core objectives in this role will be to drive growth across acquisition channels such as PPC, paid social, SEO, and social. You will be a results driven marketer who can make data-driven decisions and adjust your marketing strategy accordingly. You’ll enjoy managing a small team and being in a varied role. 

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience within paid media which spans Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram.
  • Strong knowledge across all acquisition channels.
  • Line management experience.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude 
  • Strong paid media strategy experience as well as the ability to execute campaigns autonomously

Benefits

There is a competitive salary on offer here of up to £55k plus generous holiday entitlement, product discount, team social events, and free onsite parking. There is also an early finish on Fridays. You will be required to be in the office 3-4 days per week with the rest working remotely.
